I don't know what the deal is but this unit study has just clicked with us! We are just tooling right along using library books and notebooking/lapbooking techniques. We are making fun projects too!
We are building a castle out of cardboard boxes and I'll post a picture of it when it is done. We've got it assembled but it just needs a few little decorative touches to make it complete. Although ds and dgs (3yo) have played with it all weekend. So it is a "working" castle.
It's only been a week of using CCS. But I just can't say enough about how easy it is to implement.
P.S. I wanted to post some pictures but I'm having a hard time with the sizing so as soon as I get that worked out, I'll add them.
